The hospital environment has special requirements for installation height, load bearing, power supply, network, disinfection tolerance and privacy protection. The following are the key points of the project that the project manufacturer should focus on.
The installation height is recommended to be 40-60 inches (about 1.0-1.5 meters) to fit the wheelchair user's line of sight. Need to confirm the wall load-bearing, power and network points, routing hidden scheme. In the waiting chair area, it is recommended that the center of the screen be flush with the line of sight in the sitting position, and the viewing distance is calculated by 3-5 times the height of the screen.
Anti-toppling fixation, ground load bearing, human movement line and barrier-free access width should be considered. Power and network points should be reserved near the base to avoid exposure of open wires. Touch models need to reserve operating space. It is recommended that the center of the screen be highly suitable for standing and wheelchair.
The ceiling material and load-bearing capacity must be verified, and the boom specification and safety factor must be confirmed. Check the reserved maintenance space and fire protection requirements. The installation height is recommended to be 2.5-3.5 meters from the ground. The visual distance and angle of the double-sided screen should be confirmed to avoid glare affecting waiting patients.
The installation at the door of the clinic shall confirm the width and height of the available wall beside the door, and the reserved position for power supply and network (POE priority). The local cache status or default prompt should be displayed when the network is disconnected. Privacy rules need to be clear: the public screen does not display the patient's name, only the ticket number or desensitization information.
It is recommended to reserve an independent power circuit for each device to avoid sharing with high-power medical equipment. Wired network is preferred, and the Wi-Fi needs to confirm the signal coverage strength. It is recommended to uniformly use Cat 6A or above cables and reserve redundant ports. POE power supply can simplify the electronic class card wiring.
The hospital environment should be wiped regularly with quaternary ammonium salt, chlorine disinfectant or peroxide disinfectant. The screen frame and shell should be made of chemical-resistant materials to avoid the use of coatings that are easily eroded by disinfectants. It is recommended to use tempered glass to protect the panel to reduce cleaning scratches.
